Recorded by our pal Jimmy Vapid in his basement. More messy, noisy garage punk by beer drinkers and delinquints! All the tapes were spray painted and dubbed by the band. I found a few in a box and here they are. This is the third run we made of these tapes. We probably did about 50 give or take each run, all by hand. This run we did 58 tapes

about

1 -2 self titled 45 originally released on BOPPA DO DOWN Records.
taken from the bands demo tape.
2-8 Demo Tape
MYSTICS first Demo tape.
Ahhh the 2010's There was a lot of bands in Hamilton at the time, MAGIC SHADOWS and COP HEAVEN being my favourites. Lots of venues to play in Hamilton (as well as Toronto) and it seemed like and endless party. Lots of great memories of house shows and youthful stupidity.

There was a big hipster garage rock boom at the time and everyone was riding high on tall cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon, fentanyl free cocaine, everyone had Molly and a hard on for downloading obscure records from blogs, and Vice magazine when it was actually a magazine and they put out Garage Records... I know it all sounds crazy

The tape was released twice. The first edition was 75 tapes with 3 different jacket . All tapes were spray painted pink and dubbed one at at time by the band. The second run was another 75 tapes once again spray painted (yellow) and dubbed by hand one at a god damn time in the bands rehearsal space...Again!!! I think a couple CD-R runs were one also. two different covers maybe 30 of each.

Two of the songs were released on BOPPA DO DOWN RECORDS as a 7" later that year. The band trudged on for years unable to get its shit together. Classic too much booze to much powder, "Don't tell me how to live my life" bullshit. It's still a good sounding low-fi garage punk recording. The band Recorded a second 7' but broke up for it was released. Thats life.

Recorded live off the floor in a day 04/06/2011 By Jimmy Vapid in his basement studio.
